Sketchbook pages

"Drawing takes time. A line has time in it."

 -David Hockney

Sketchbooks are invaluable tools for artists of all levels, providing a space to explore ideas, experiment with techniques, and document observations. Here I have been scetching on envelopes.

Choose the Right Sketchbook: Select a sketchbook that suits your needs and preferences in terms of size, paper quality, and binding.

Carry it Everywhere: Keep your sketchbook with you at all times, so you can capture inspiration whenever it strikes. Whether you're at home, outdoors, or on the go, having your sketchbook on hand allows you to sketch spontaneously and document your surroundings.

Experiment with Different Mediums: Explore a variety of drawing materials and mediums in your sketchbook, such as pencils, pens, markers, charcoal, ink, watercolor, and pastels.

"The painter draws with his eyes, not with his hands."

-Maurice Grosser

Practice Regularly: Make sketching a regular part of your artistic routine by setting aside dedicated time for sketching sessions. Whether it's daily, weekly, or monthly.

I uploades some photos to my flickr.

Lag på lag er de bygget opp med

abstrakte landskap.

“Sometimes, when one is moving silently through such an utterly desolate landscape, an overwhelming hallucination can make one feel that oneself, as an individual human being, is slowly being unraveled. The surrounding space is so vast that it becomes increasingly difficult to keep a balanced grip on one's own being. The mind swells out to fill the entire landscape, becoming so diffuse in the process that one loses the ability to keep it fastened to the physical self.

The sun would rise from the eastern horizon, and cut it's way across the empty sky, and sink below the western horizon. This was the only perceptible change in our surroundings. And in the movement of the sun, I felt something I hardly know how to name: some huge, cosmic love.”
― Haruki Murakami, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

A new beginning

"A New Beginning" often represents a time of hope, opportunities, and optimism. It's a moment where one can leave the past behind and look forward to new challenges and adventures.

It can be an inspiring thought for those who wish to take control of their own lives and create positive changes.

Start now!
