ATC cards & tiny Inchies ART

ATC art

ATC (Artist Trading Cards) and Inchies are both miniature forms of art that allow for creative expression in a small format. Here's a brief overview of each:

ATC (Artist Trading Cards):

Artist Trading Cards are miniature works of art, typically measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches (63 x 89 mm), the same size as a standard baseball card.

They are created by artists and traded or exchanged with other artists, often at events, conventions, or through online communities.

ATCs can be made using a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, and more.

Artists often sign and date their ATCs on the back, along with any relevant information or a title.

The concept of ATCs emphasizes the act of trading and collecting art as a form of social interaction and creative collaboration.

I made a large artwork from some of my ATC cards

“It’s a beautiful day, the sun is shining, I feel good, and no one’s gonna stop me now.”
— Freddie Mercury

“Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.”
— Bil Keane

“Waking up this morning, I smile. 24 brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment.”

“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”
— Marcus Aurelius

Inchies

Inchies are even smaller than ATCs, measuring just 1 x 1 inch (25 x 25 mm).

Despite their tiny size, Inchies offer artists a creative challenge and an opportunity to explore intricate details and techniques on a small scale.

Like ATCs, Inchies can be made using various mediums and techniques, including drawing, painting, stamping, collage, and more.

Inchies can be used individually or combined to create larger compositions, such as a grid or mosaic of Inchies.

They are often traded or exchanged among artists in a similar manner to ATCs, with each Inchie representing a small piece of the artist's creativity.

Both ATCs and Inchies provide artists with a platform for experimentation, creativity, and community engagement in a compact and accessible format. They offer a fun and rewarding way to connect with other artists, explore new techniques, and showcase your artistic talents on a small scale
