Pocket journal & jeans/leather slow stitched pouched


Creating a slow-stitched pocket junk journal is a delightful and meditative project that combines the art of slow stitching with the creativity of junk journaling.

Materials Needed: pluss a big portion of pations

Fabric scraps (cotton, linen, or any fabric you prefer)

Embroidery floss or thread

Needle, Scissors

Buttons, beads, and other embellishments

Paper scraps, old book pages, magazine clippings, etc.

Glue, learn some embroidery stitches

Small pieces of cardstock or heavy paper for pockets or make them fram textile scrap

Ephemera (tickets, tags, postcards, etc.

Markers, pens, or stamps for additional decoration

The possibilities is endless.


Another slow stitched project was this 
raggedy pouch, made from leather, and jeans, and some beads and buttons.


Raggedy means untidy
torn and looking a little worn
